The renowned female architect, Zaha Hadid, once said: “There are 360 degrees, so why stick to one?”. I find these words inspiring whenever I come across an impasse in my professional or personal life. My outlook on architecture and landscape architecture has evolved beyond the pursuit of creating purely aesthetic landmarks. Early on in my architectural journey, I quickly recognized the essential synergy between these two disciplines – architecture and landscape architecture – in the creation of enduringly sustainable designs. The seamless integration of ecological resilience and sustainable design principles in projects has become a wellspring of inspiration for me. Guided by this realization, my ultimate aspiration is to channel my skills to bring forth projects that harmoniously merge these vital elements, leaving a lasting mark on the built environment while championing a sustainable design.
